ng-conf: Hardwired General Session

  • Registration email.
    • Registered attendees will receive a registration notification with a link to join.
      • Watch your email it will be from: ng-conf via Crowdcast
      • Subject: Thanks for registering for “ng-conf Hardwired Conference”
    • Click on the button to ‘Visit Event’ this will take you to the landing page of the event.
  • Logging into the event.
    • Use the link from the registration email.  If there is a current live session, you will automatically join the session.  If there is currently no live session, you will land on the first session and have access to the replay.
  • Navigating the sessions
    • In the top left corner, there is a ‘Schedule’ section below the ng-conf Hardwired Conference title.  Clicking on this area will drop down the menu to choose which session you would like to view.
    • When a new session begins you will automatically be pulled into the current live session with the rest of the attendees.
  • Asking questions.
    • Using the ‘Ask A Question’ bottom navigation option opens a dialog where you can create a question.  These questions can be up-voted by other audience members and then answered by the conference presenters.

    • The presenter can choose to answer by using a comment or they can choose to address it live and put a time stamp on it for future replays.  It will fall into the ‘Answered’ tab.

  • Taking polls.

    • Throughout the conference, the presenters will issue out polls that you can participate in by answering and then seeing the results.

  • Watching the replays.

    • Each of the sessions will have its own replay, which are available as soon as the session is complete and will be available to you even after the conference is complete.  Choosing any completed session will give you the option.

  • Time zone.

    • All dates and times listed are MDT.

  • Code of Conduct.

    • Whether in-person or online, ng-conf holds all attendees, presenters, and employees to a high Code of Conduct. Please review this COC and agree to follow its policies

  • Minimum requirements to attend the event: We recommend a minimum of 5 Mbps download and 2 Mbps upload for a stable and consistent stream of video and audio. Crowdcast will automatically drop down to audio-only mode if your connection is weak.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

ng-conf: Hardwired Workshops

  • Where?

    • Your virtual workshop will be held via Zoom. Please register in advance for the event by clicking on the link that was emailed to you.

    • After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the webinar.

  • Set-up & Installations.

    • To make the most of everyone’s time, please check your email for setup instructions and take some time before the workshop starts to get set up.

  • Workshop Recordings.

    • The workshop will be recorded in its entirety and will be available as a replay within 24-48 hours after the event. You will be sent a link to view the raw video as soon as it’s available.

  • Time zone.

    • All dates and times listed are MDT.

  • Code of Conduct.
